Worked Example
Two players each bet 100 WF:
| Total pot | 200 WF |
| Maintenance fee (5%) | -10 WF |
| Burn fee (5%) | -10 WF |
| Winner receives | 180 WF |
| Both players' collateral returned | 200 WF each |
Deflationary Mechanics
Every settled wager permanently removes WF tokens from circulation through the 5% burn fee. Additionally, when a player goes AFK or gets slashed, their entire collateral (2x their bet) is also burned. This creates strong deflationary pressure on the WF token supply.
Normal vs AFK Burns
In a normal 100 WF wager, 10 WF is burned (5% of the 200 WF pot). But if a player goes AFK, their 200 WF collateral is burned instead — the normal burn fee is waived. That's 200 WF total burned from a single match, 20x more than a normal settlement.
