How It Works
A complete wager goes through six steps, from token approval to automatic settlement.
Approve Tokens
Approve the escrow contract to spend your WF tokens. This is a one-time approval — you can set it to the exact amount or unlimited.
Create Wager
Choose your bet amount and create a wager. The contract generates a unique lobby code. Your total deposit is 3x the bet (1x bet + 2x collateral).
Share & Join
Share the lobby code or invite link with your opponent. They join the wager by depositing the same 3x amount. The wager is now active.
Play the Game
Play your Wild Forest PVP match. After the match, the losing player reports the result here on the platform.
Report Loss
The losing player reports their loss. The backend verifies the reporter is a participant and signs the transaction. The signed report is submitted on-chain.
Auto-Settlement
Once the loss report is submitted on-chain, the contract settles instantly. The winner receives their bet + opponent's bet minus fees. Both players get their collateral back.
Alternative Paths
AFK Claim (48h + Admin Review)
If your opponent doesn't report within 48 hours of the wager activating, you can submit a victory claim. Claims are not automatic — they go through an admin review process:
- You submit a claim request with an optional reason
- Upload screenshot evidence of the match result
- An admin reviews the claim and supporting evidence
- If approved, you receive a signed transaction to claim on-chain
- The opponent's collateral is burned and you get the full payout
Screenshot Evidence
Players can upload screenshots of the match result screen as evidence. These are reviewed by admins when processing AFK claims and help verify the legitimate winner.
Cancel Wager
The creator can cancel a wager before an opponent joins. Your full deposit (including collateral) is returned. Once an opponent joins, cancellation is no longer possible.
